West of Broadway is a 501(c)(3) non-profit theater company founded by children’s book author and playwright/director Diane Namm. West of Broadway’s mission is to promote literacy and social and civic responsibility through interactive theater. We adapt and update literary classics and modern classics to create interactive family entertainment for the stage. We reach out to the community; bring a new generation into the theater and keep ticket prices affordable.

- Live stage productions of classics
- Community outreach programming (e.g. You, the Jury ™ series courtroom dramas)
- Writing workshops within the community
- Stage readings of classic plays for low-income school districts
